In June of 2005 , 2006, 2007, and 2008 Pete undertook
expeditions in Iceland, photographing in the 24-hour
daylight that occurs during an Icelandic summer.
Photographing almost exclusively between 11:00PM and
8:00AM, Mr. Chipman circled the entire country shooting
along the coast and in the highlands while most of the
nation slept peacefully (or partied in Reykyavik).

The links above takes you to his set of Iceland photos
posted on an online gallery that he participates in.  Prints
from the expedition are available for purchase.  Pete's
full account of this adventure will be posted in December,
2008.

Tip:  For the best viewing once you get to the gallery,
press "F11" on your keyboard.  This maximizes the
viewing area, and will allow you to see the pictures
without having to scroll up and down.  To revert back to
your original setting, simply press "F11" again.  This
works on both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Foxfire
browsers.
